The project landed in Yongning County last year, covering an area of 483.6 mu, with a total investment estimate of 1.7 billion yuan. The project is expected to be completed within the year. After being put into operation, the annual output value will reach 1 billion yuan, providing more than 600 jobs.
It is understood that Sinosteel New Materials (Ningxia) Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the business of special graphite, nuclear graphite, nonferrous metals, graphite materials, carbon powder, carbon matrix composites and other new materials. It is the only high-tech production and research and development company in China that has the production conditions for high-quality, large-scale isostatic graphite and nuclear grade graphite. Among them, special graphite is an essential basic material and mold material for the construction and operation of high temperature gas cooled reactor nuclear power plants, the manufacturing of polycrystalline silicon and monocrystalline silicon in the solar photovoltaic industry, the EDM of precision machinery manufacturing and other industries in the semiconductor industry.
